Dear Montana Conservation Corps Expedition alumni,

We hope you are having a great spring, or is it winter still?  We are sending you this email to let you know about the 2012 Youth Serve Montana Scholarship, which you may be eligible because of your experience with MCC!

The Youth Serve Montana Scholarship rewards up to 70 high school seniors, who have volunteered 100 hours in the last year, with a $1,000 scholarship to attend one of 20 Montana colleges and universities that are part of the Montana Campus Compact (http://www.mtcompact.org). If you successfully completed our Expedition program then you have completed the required 100 hours! The most competitive applications will show additional service above and beyond the MCC program, but fear not if all of your volunteer hours come from MCC-there’s always a chance-so get your application in, too!

Application materials are due Monday, April 16, by noon. To download the application and learn more about the scholarship click here.

If you have questions or need documentation of your service hours with MCC, please contact us at 406-587-4475 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Hi Casey,Am writing from Toronto, Canada.i read your book renectly & can’t praise it enough. I am awed by all you’ve done for the wildlife, including grizzlies. The earth needs good people like you.I am eager to come out to the Grizzly Encounter and see them. Will plan something.Keep up the great work you do .Chitra
