As Montana officially welcomes the fall season, Crew Four embraced the fluctuating fall weather enjoying cutting tread in varying conditions from crisp, breezy mornings to flurries of rain and snow later in afternoons.
We encountered many obstacles but rejoiced in prying up stubborn shrubs and resilient rocks. As one of our crew leads, Holly, always says, “It’s a great day to cut tread!”
It was truly rewarding to look back on our work and see our addition to the River’s Edge Trail. It will be a source of pride to be able to come back to the worksite and appreciate our contribution.
Lastly, it was a privilege working with Great Falls Parks and Recreation and we were thankful to our sponsor, Steffen, who so graciously welcomed us into his home and provided us with a great meal and even greater company.
We look forward to partnering with them in the future and hope all enjoy the new addition to the River’s Edge Trail.
