Our first night in Eureka there was a windstorm that knocked out power in the whole town. Also blew off part of our hotel roof! This however was not foreshadowing for the rest of our week. We helped a wide variety of people in Lincoln county including a single mother interested in making her home warmer to helping an old couple that has lived in Eureka their whole lives install plastic and weather stripping. We were glad to meet so many nice people and help out where we could. An additional nice touch to the week were the larch finally turning the golden yellow we have been waiting for.
