Lucienne Devitt - Field Coordinator
Lucienne was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Realizing the big city wasn’t necessarily for her, she went off to the cornfields of Northfield, MN where she earned her degree in Environmental Studies and Statistics at St. Olaf College. After graduating, searching for an opportunity to live in the woods and try something new, Lucienne joined a historic preservation corps based out of Duluth, MN. She then joined SCA’s New Hampshire Conservation Corps where she fell in love with conservation work and living and working in community. Never having been to Montana before, Lucienne continued her conservation journey as a crew leader with MCC out of Kalispell in 2022. She spent her season trapesing through the Kootenai National Forest and the Idaho Panhandle digging lots and lots of tread, becoming a true Treadhead. Lucienne is thrilled to continue her journey with MCC as Field Coordinator here in Kalispell. In her free time, Lucienne can be found playing her trumpet and ukulele, playing cribbage, stumbling around on cross-country skis, and soaking up the sun during the warmer months.
