Stacey Casamassima | Vice President of Programs
Stacey was born and raised on traditional and unceded territory of the Kumeyaay Nation where she grew up splashing in the waves and spending summers in the Sierras. With a background in leadership studies and education, she is passionate about supporting young people's capacity for creating change. Stacey's work has taken her across the globe teaching immersive study abroad and gap year programs in Rwanda, South Africa, India, Ecuador, Thailand, and New Zealand. Prior to joining MCC in 2021, she worked in identity and equity spaces on college campuses. Stacey is a doctoral candidate at MSU-Bozeman where she is studying experiential approaches to leadership development. In her free time, Stacey enjoys frolicking in the mountains with her wife Sheena, and their energetic cattle dog, Ryder.
