Leadership Development
In spring, MCC enrolls near one hundred young adults to be leaders of our young adult and youth programs. These emerging leaders receive training in their first months in leadership and interpersonal skills, first aid, Leave No Trace, team building, civic engagement, and work-skills training as part of our highly acclaimed Leadership Development Program. They grow in emotional intelligence while outfitting a tool box of practical leadership competencies. Our crew leaders then pass those skills on to their crews as they live, learn, and serve together in some of our country's wildest places.
