Breaking New Ground

We’ve made it to another weekend!  Our last hitch went extremely well even with one person being stuck back at camp due to blisters.  Everyone really came together to make the situation work and we got a lot done.

We got to clear ground for a trail reroute, which meant more sawing and tree clearing, which is always fun; plus by the end of the hitch we even managed to break ground on the new trail reroute.

Making a trail from scratch was definitely an incredible challenge, but we got it done pretty quickly and it looks really cool.

Now I guess we all have a higher appreciation for the trails we walk on, and for the folks who made it happen.
