This crew had a blast maintaining and fixing the east boundary fence-line in East Glacier NP. The highlight for the crew was enjoying the natural beauty of Cut Bank Cr CG and tossing the Frisbee every night. The next project moved us to a large plot of land owned by the Kaniksu Land Trust in Herron, Montana to extend a trail system and build foot bridges in a wildlife viewing area called Cabinet View Wildlife Preserve, but fondly remembered by the crew as ‘Judy’s Place’. Here the crew spent long, wet days swinging picks and pulaskis building beautiful new trails. The next two weeks involved a move to Kalispell, Montana to work on trail maintenance on the widely traveled, Foys To Blacktail Trail. Here we had the opportunity to camp up high on the trail system near Blacktail, and also at the top of Heron Park near Chase Overlook, with a stunning view of the Flathead Valley. The crew bonded every night with games of Texas Hold’em and Spades. Heckin’ Dingers!
