It was our last hitch as a summer crew and we were headed back to Idaho! It would be our third time there and we thought we were prepared for long hikes clearing trails like our typical Idaho hitch. This hitch would be no different. We knew the forecast said it would be hot, but there’s nothing you could do about the heat of full PPE in close to 100 degree weather, except maybe bring more water and water filters. We ended up clearing four trails and hiking about 70 miles!
