For our final hitch, we got to plant alongside members of the Nez Perce tribe. We were exposed to a wealth of knowledge about tree diversity and how to best support trees towards a prosperous and fruitful growth. We cut some whips of dogwood and cottonwood for the nursery and planted willow by the water and service berry farther from the shore. We got to enjoy some fancy cabins equipped with all the amenities and winded down from our tread-digging season in trail luxury. We had some sick babies and some blisters but we all pulled through to do some great work revegging some barren areas in Idaho. It was a beautiful place with some beautiful people.
