Taking a New Reroute

It has been our third hitch at Dean Creek in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Our tasks include brushing, digging retread, and digging two new reroutes. We hike about 5 miles to our work site from camp everyday to work on the reroute. At the end of our work day and hiking 10 miles total everyday, camp life is always something to look forward to, such as delicious dinners our fellow crew members create and the ongoing card games that we try to win. Although the days are long, it is all worth the hard work and we are excited the see the final outcome of the reroute and the other sites that we complete.
