Meyer's Creek Pass or Fail

A view of a trail that winds into a mountain valley

This project's goal was to work with the Beartooth Ranger District to build and repair trails and drains four miles up to the Meyer's Creek Pass. This project was a great opportunity to work with the Forest Service and work on repairing substantial water damage and to install drains to keep the trail accessible and enjoyable for years to come.

Battling an intense hike up and two miles of brush clearing, all culminated in installing new drains and check steps as well as repairing existing trail infrastructure. For this hitch, we were also joined by Adam, a field coordinator from the GY office, and had an awesome time working and learning from him.

The results of our labor of love are a clear path straight to the pass and improved drains and water bars to keep the pesky rainwater where it belongs... off the tread!
